Hi…I am looking to get a blog started for my 13-year old so he can post his short stories, songs, and things like that. Not looking to have any e-commerce functionality. Want it to be flexible, professional looking and easy for him to modify, and put basic things like pictures and videos on it. . What platform would you recommend? thanks.
I am looking for a new hosting service but don’t really want to deal with domain and website transfers. Can Hostgator team take care of that for me? How much does it cost?
Hi Donald,
I don’t blame you for feeling that way. Transferring a site can be a real pain. Luckily, HostGator do offer a free domain and content transfer service for new accounts, although there are a few restrictions, depending on your CMS and control panel. If you have more than one site/domain to transfer they’ll quote you on the cost of moving those too. Visit the HostGator site to get started.
